Profile:
Andy Kantar teaches technical writing and YA literature and is the director of the Writing Center. He served two years as a Fulbright Scholar in Norway and was the recipient of the University's Award for Academic Excellence. He is also the author of 29 Missing (1998), a Read Michigan selection; Black November (2006), finalist for the ForeWord Book of the Year (YA nonfiction) and nominated for the Great Lakes Book Award; and Deadly Voyage (2009), selected for One Book One County Reads (Michigan Humanities Council). His YA novel, Game Face, will be released June 2013.
