From 1991 through 2002, Dr. Weller was a faculty member at Bethel College (IN), where he was the Chair of the Division of Mathematics and Computer Science.  While at Bethel, he developed a strong interest in collegiate mathematics education.  To facilitate his entry into the field, Weller joined the collaborative research group RUMEC (Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Community) and has held mathematics education positions at the University of North Texas and the University of Michigan-Flint.  Dr. Weller has published joint research on mathematical infinity and student learning with members of RUMEC, co-authored (with Joanne Snow, Saint Mary's College (IN)) the text supplement Laboratory Examples in Real Analysis, published by the Mathematical Association of America, and worked on several funded grant projects.
