Richard Marble holds a B.S. Degree in Biology from Bowling Green State University and is a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist as well as a Certified Manager of Animal Resources through the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). He is currently employed as the Animal Care Facility Coordinator at Ferris State University and is responsible for assisting faculty in the requisition and care of animals that are used in instruction and research. He serves as an advisor to senior administration in all things Animal Research, and he also serves as an Ex Officio member of FSU’s IACUC committee.
Richard is an active member of the Michigan Branch, District 5, and National branches of AALAS serving as a volunteer and presenter. He has over 10 years in the animal research field four of which were spent in the Commercial Animal Care industry with the balance being spent in Academia. Richard also serves as a co-instructor for the course, BIOL 476 Advanced Techniques in Biotechnology, where he provides animal care and handling instruction to seniors in the Biotechnology program.
