The Biology Education programs at Ferris State University are housed primarily in the School of Education. However, students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education or a Secondary Education Biology Minor will take a number of courses offered by the Department of Biological Sciences and will have an advisor from within the department in addition to their advisor from the School of Education. In addition to the required coursework, one semester of directed teaching at the secondary level is required. A teaching minor is also required.
