Highlighting Structure
Ferris trains students on the same sophisticated equipment found in clinical laboratories nationwide.
The program is designed to build a dynamic experience that combines classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and hands-on internships.
Students spend four semesters completing general education courses with the professional phase beginning in the fifth. The first three semesters of professional coursework will be on the main campus in Big Rapids, Michigan and then move to the "medical mile" in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the next two. Closing out the program will be a semester-long internship.
Students must complete the professional phase withing 5 years of beginning that phase of study.
