Progression Policy

PROGRESSION POLICY FOR HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

  • All students enrolled in the Health Information programs must earn at least a "C" (73% or better) in all courses listed below. If you earn less than "C" in any of the courses, you will be required to repeat the course.
  • Two unsuccessful attempts (less than "C") in any of these courses will result in dismissal from the Health Information program they are enrolled in and student would not be eligible to enroll in the other Health Information program.
  • Student may need to relocate to fulfill the internship requirements.
  • Any student convicted of a felony is advised to contact the Health Information program clinical coordinator prior to enrolling in a health information program.
