** Up to 15 credit hours per semester
- Students must meet the minimum cumulative transfer grade point average and the minimum accepted transfer credit hours to qualify for transfer scholarships.
- The transfer grade point average is calculated using all transferred grades even if
they are from multiple colleges or universities.
- Students must maintain continuous full-time enrollment which is defined as a minimum
of 12 credit hours for fall and 12 credit hours for spring. (Summer attendance is
not required)
- Transfer Scholarships are not available for summer semester.
- If a student's final community college GPA is higher than the GPA used for initial
scholarship consideration, we will "bump" the student to the highest scholarship he
or she qualifies for, provided the final transcript is submitted prior to the first
day of class.
- The scholarship is automatically renewed for a second year if the student maintains
the required renewal GPA.
- Students who wish to be considered for a third year of these scholarships must maintain
the required renewal GPA and full-time enrollment, and submit an emailed request to
scholarships@ferris.edu for consideration.
- Students must be enrolled full–time in an undergraduate, degree-granting program on
the main Big Rapids campus only.
- Transfer students are automatically considered upon admission, except as noted for Phi
Theta Kappa.
- Transfer scholarships are limited to one per student. Students will be awarded the
highest valued transfer scholarship they qualify for.
- Ferris State University Transfer Scholarship award offers are subject to the availability
of funds.
