The academic year value of the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is $3500. Students must have a minimum cumulative transfer grade point average of 3.5 and a minimum of 24 accepted transfer credit hours. The transfer grade point average is calculated using all transferred grades, even if they are from multiple colleges or universities. The community college from which the student transfers must have a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. The student is required to provide a letter of recommendation from the Phi Theta Kappa Advisor or a copy of the membership certificate.
Scholarship is automatically renewed for a second year if student maintains a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher. Students who wish to be considered for a third year of this scholarship, must continue to meet the renewal criteria of 3.25 or higher GPA and full-time enrollment, and may submit an emailed request to email@example.com for consideration.
Student must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate, degree-granting program on the main campus (Big Rapids) only.
One transfer scholarship, that which provides the student with the greatest benefit, will be awarded per year.
