Where Can I Take A College Credit–By–Exam Program (CLEP) Test?
To provide students who demonstrate high ability the opportunity to earn credit for prior learning, Ferris State University offers 34 of the national College-Level Examination Program (CLEP®) computer-based tests. If you obtain an ACT composite score of 24 or higher, or an SAT Verbal + Math score of 1100, you have a good possibility of earning college credit through the CLEP program.
Ferris offers the CLEP exams through its Office of Institutional Research and Testing in the Timme Center for Student Services, Room 313. Tests are held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on staff and room availability. There is a $102 fee per test. A $77 payment by check made payable to CLEP or credit/debit card is required at the time you take a test. The remaining $25 will be billed to your student account.
