We are located on the second floor of the historic Prakken Building on the corner of Oak Street on the Big Rapids Main Campus of Ferris State University. Currently our department oversees the procurement of goods and services for the Main Campus in Big Rapids, Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, along with the Ferris Grand Rapids campus and over 20 satellite campuses state wide.

We are the point of contact for outside vendors, departments seeking high dollar purchases, and major construction. The purpose of the Purchasing Department is to assist all Ferris State University departments in the purchasing of appropriate and high quality materials and services from approved vendors at competitive costs in a timely manner.
