President's Message to Students

Prospective Students,

Thanks for being interested in Ferris State University (FSU). We are proud of the school and are pleased you are taking time to investigate how Ferris might help you achieve your goals.

You have probably received a lot of literature from Ferris and other schools (if not, let us know). I would like to add to this material the strong commitment of the faculty and staff at FSU to help you succeed, if you are willing to work hard.

As President, I really enjoy meeting and interacting with students. Ferris students are great young men and women (some not so young). Whether it is cheering on our sports teams or just chatting over a Coke, it is the students who make working at FSU a lot of fun. If you decide to enroll, you will see me on campus. Please say hello and introduce yourself.

My recommendation is that you should talk with FSU students, visit the campus, and talk with the faculty in the area of study you are interested in. We aren't the right campus for everyone. You need to explore the options available to you.
