Marc Sheehan serves as the Communications Officer for the University President. His responsibilities include composing articles, internal and external communications, and various reports and documents. He is also the editor of the University's Crimson and Gold magazine. Marc joined the Communications staff in the division of University Advancement and Marketing in 2001 and transferred to the President's Office in 2007.
Professionally, Marc is the author of Greatest Hits (poetry), 1998; and Associate Editor, Fourth Genre: Explorations in Nonfiction (literary journal), 1998-present.
Marc has earned a bachelor's degree in English from Western Michigan University in 1976, a master's degree in English from Central Michigan University in 1979, and a M.F.A. from the University of Michigan in 1986.
