Jody began her employment at Ferris in April 2001 after being honorably discharged from serving in the U.S. Air Force. She has worn many hats including desktop support technician, Novell Tree Administrator, Technology Services Coordinator for desktop support, project coordinator for the Lotus Notes 8.5 client upgrade, and communications coordinator for the Active Directory migration project. She coordinated the transition of support for all administrative customers from the Student Administrative Technology Services to Computer Technology Services (now known as TAC).
Jody is currently the TAC Technical Education and Outreach Coordinator. She is responsible for reaching out to the campus community and providing training on many of the technologies used by Ferris employees in their daily duties.
Jody has a passion for adult education. In 2013 she earned her Master of Career and Technical Education - Training & Development degree from Ferris State University. The Technical Education & Outreach team partners with the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning on training related to classroom technologies implemented here at Ferris.
