One of the annual traditions in Academic Affairs at Ferris State University is to recognize faculty who demonstrate excellence in their professional endeavors. So many of our colleagues are just outstanding at what they do and truly embody a passion and work ethic worth emulating. Every year, we ask the members of our campus community to nominate their colleagues for the Academic Affairs Awards. Each award is assigned an award committee, and the members of that committee evaluate the nominations and submissions to determine the final recipient for the award.
In 2012, faculty, staff and students recognized individuals who displayed excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, diversity enhancement, and academic advising.
