Russia: Literature and Biology

Gain knowledge of the country and diversity of its people through a study of courses in Russian literature and language, art, and food. The program will be a river cruise on the Volga from Moscow to St. Petersburg with stops in several cities along the way. Study will be further enhanced by field trips and museum visitations to such places as the Hermitage, the Russian Bolshoi, and St. Petersburg University.

Academic Program

3 Credits in Biology - Applied Fermentation - BIOL 280
6 Credits in English Literature - LITR 241 or 243

Students can only earn 6 credits with this program.

Students must be in good academic and judicial standing required (2.0 GPA), along with successful application.

Cost

Estimated program fee of $2,695Program Fee Includes: lodging, meals, admissions fees, group transportation, airport transfers, insurance and visa fee. Program Fee Does Not Include: $100 application fee, airfare, Ferris tuition, required textbooks, passport, & personal expenses.

Program participants will reside in housing in staterooms on cruise ships.
