BEYOND The Silk Road Experience

BEYOND A Silk Road Journey | The Experience

Guests will take a journey along the silk road with the aid of interactive exhibits, speakers, and performers. Along the way you will hear tales of passion and conquest, be serenaded by the music of the ancient cities, and taste the spices that inspired adventure and discovery.

The exhibits will be guided by faculty leading study abroad programs, allowing students and community members the chance to learn about opportunities to experience these cultures first hand through study and travel.

This is a Ferris 5-Star event.

The Experience will be held at two locations:

  • Thursday September 13
    11:30-12:30 p.m. and 5:30-7:30     p.m.
    The Old Federal Building, Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University
    Downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan

  • Sunday, October 7, 2012
    1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
