DCCL courses generally run 7.5 weeks and include face-to-face and online components.
Summer semester begins with a one-day program orientation followed immediately by the start of summer courses. Summer courses run concurrently beginning with five days of face-to-face delivery followed by online delivery through the end of the semester. The five-day, face-to-face component generally runs from Sunday through Thursday.
Fall and Spring courses run consecutively - each for 7.5 weeks with about 1 week between courses. Breaks may require some follow-up course work or pre-course work. Fall and Spring courses generally begin on a Friday (the Friday before the regular Ferris courses begin) and end on a Wednesday – constituting 7.5 weeks. Each course typically includes one face-to-face component generally held during the second weekend as follows: Friday 4 pm to 9 pm class; Saturday 8 am to 4 pm class; Saturday 4 pm to 6 pm open/optional.
