Beginning in 2009, Ferris is recognizing programs that demonstrate "best practices" in assessment. Each year, expectations will increase as results are to be reported and action plans shared. In recognition of having been selected as models for Ferris, the following three program areas each agreed to share their plans and will receive a $1,000 award for use by the program. For 2009, the following programs are being recognized: Nursing B.S.N.; Radiography, A.A.S., and Social Work B.S.W. In addition, the English B.A. and the Technical Communication B.S. were cited for honorable mention. Their plans follow.
