Part 3 Subpart 3-7 Academic Probation, Dismissal and Readmission After Academic Dismissal

Sec. 3-701. Purpose of the Policies on Academic Probation, Dismissal, and Readmission.

The purpose of the policies on academic probation, dismissal, and readmission is to ensure an orderly procedure for giving careful consideration to the needs of each student who is experiencing difficulty in academic work.

Sec. 3-702. Administration of Programs.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs shall be responsible for developing and administering policies and procedures governing probation, dismissal, and readmission after academic dismissal. Such policies and procedures shall be issued by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and approved by the President. It shall be the responsibility of the student's dean to ensure that these policies and procedures are being observed.
