Retention and Graduation Requirements
In order to be in compliance with the requirements of the Honors Program and retain your honors status, and be awarded an Honors medallion upon graduation, you must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Achieve a 3.25 cumulative GPA at the end of each school year.
- Attend three campus cultural events each semester.
- Commit to 15 community service hours each semester.
- Join a campus club, group, organization or team.
- Complete 10 or 12 honors credits
- Reside in one of the honors halls for at least the first two years of college.
- Attend the Honors Senior Symposium each year; present your poster at the symposium in April of your junior or senior year (depending upon your graduation date).
- Maintain a record of good citizenship in Carlisle, Helen Ferris, or Henderson/Puterbaugh Honors Halls.
- Attend a Strategies for Educational Success workshop if your cumulative GPA falls below a 3.25 in fall or winter semester of your freshman year.
