The annual Honors Variety Show of 2011 was held on Thursday, November 17. The Variety Show is organized by the Honors Programming Board a registered student organization on campus. Six acts performed in the hope of winning Judge’s Choice or Crowd Favorite. Donations received were given to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Mecosta County.
The judge’s choice for overall winner was for Kimberly Curcuru singing and playing guitar to a song she wrote called “Bandages.” Crowd Favorite went to a skit titled “The Seven Deadly Sins” . This was performed by Jacqueline DeBoer, Hope Houston, Michael Knapp, Megan Knight, Hannah Lanning, Hannah Slagh and Jason Wilkins.
