The Educational Counseling and Disabilities Services Department and the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning invite you to participate in these remaining Academic Advising for Student Success seminars. These seminars include three different topics and are provided by the educational counselors and other skilled individuals. January 31, 2013 - Working with Students on Academic Probation/Career Counseling Lunch will be provided by the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. This faculty learning community is part of the University goals to “become a demonstrable

Participants in this faculty learning community will have the opportunity to examine
different classroom behaviors that have the potential to derail a productive teaching
and learning environment. Faculty will learn how to prevent or respond to the behavior
and identify possible causes. In addition, we’ll examine relevant research, best practices,
and resources at FSU that are available to faculty and students. |
