Twitter is a microblogging (140 characters or less) tool used to broadcast messages and solicit feedback. It can be used with a desktop computer and mobile devices such as cell-phones. In addit6ion to broadcasting publicly, twitter users can send messages to individuals and groups. User may subscribe ("follow") to individual users, groups, or topics.
