



| The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning is available to support faculty and to influence measurable effectiveness in teaching, advance scholarly activities, and promote innovation in teaching and learning. We offer services in instructional design, instructional technology, small group instructional diagnosis, as well as one-on-one expert assistance. The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning also hosts a number of events, such as book discussion groups, learning communities, instructional technology learning activities, instructional design workshops and other faculty enrichment events. |

This faculty learning community is part of the University goals to become a demonstrable center of excellence in educational quality and student learning (Strategic Goal 1). The learning community is one means to support the emphasis on quality performance by faculty, staff, and administration that demonstrably improves student learning (Strategic Initiative 4, Goal 1). We will meet on Wednesday, February 8, 15, 22, and 29, March 28, and April 4 and 11. Upon successful completion of the work associated with the learning community, you will receive a PDI of $400. |
Instructional Technologists, Jackie Hughes or Andrew Peterson, will be available in
the Faculty Center workroom every Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 AM and from 3:00 - 4:00
PM to assist faculty with their technological needs. No problem is too big or small!
