Charge: The applications steering committee will provide a high-level review of planning and development of Banner systems and systems that integrate with the Banner system. This committee will advise and provide consent of purchase and integration of systems that tie to Banner. The committee will oversee the University wide use of the Banner system and recommend appropriate technical support to the Banner system and integrated systems. The steering committee will assist in setting overall priorities for the work to be completed and use of human resources relating to system work, upgrades and integrated systems. This committee may recommend and participate in the development of university policies relating to technology and the development of annual planning documents related to Banner or integrated systems. The committee will authorize all base line changes to the Banner system. Any unresolved issues or concerns of the steering committee will be forwarded to the Presidents Council for final determination.
Members of the application steering committee will be appointed by respective Vice Presidents of each division and serve for a two year term. Members may be reappointed for additional terms. The steering committee will maintain continuity by staggered rotations or other methOperation Data Store to ensure appropriate transitions.
