ODS (Operational Data Store) is the Banner software application that has been installed to report and extract data from the Banner system. The ODS system uses a set of tables to store Banner data and allows for quick and easy reporting.
Update on ODS Installation 03/01/07:
The ODS system has been installed and data has been successfully loaded into the tables used by the HR and the Finance systems. Reports are currently being written against the ODS system for Finance and HR users. On the Student System most data has been successfully loaded into tables in the ODS system, however there is one major mapping that is failing to load data from the Banner tables to the ODS tables. There continues to be work done to identify and resolve any issues on the Banner Student system. Our system requirements and operating requirements have been adjusted to provide maximum processing capabilities. Technical support from SunGard continues to be engaged to help solve the issue.
