To download the latest AntiVirus update

• Symantec AntiVirus updates are available at the following website, http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-N95.html

• Click the .exe link at the top of the page (it will start with a recent date, within the last day or two, yyyymmdd).
  Note :
  • If you see the following icon in your system tray, download the Symantec AntiVirus 10.0 Corporate Edition Client update.
  • If you see the following icon in your system tray, download the Symantec Endpoint Prtection Version 11.0.5 update.
  • If you are using a 64-bit operating system be sure to download your update from the 64-bit Platforms section.

• Select “Run” to download the updater.

• Select “Run” to start the Updater.

• Select “Yes” to run the Updater.

• Select “OK” to complete the installation.

You will want to close the window for Symantec, and reopen it again, to verify the latest version is within a day or two old at most.

Then you will want to run a Full Virus scan.
