In order to provide all employees with access to standard Ferris State University electronic communication resources, all employees will have the following accounts created for them: Lotus Notes account MyFSU account Novell Network account Please note that the following form just lets the tech support area know in advance of the PAF being processed what computer the person will be using, and where you would like it set up. To get the actual accounts created, you need to still create the PAF, and get it to HR, or fill out the Pre-Employment Information Form (in MyFSU /Workplace/University Forms), to get accounts created before the person starts. In accordance with Business Policy Letter 2005:02, the TAC will process this work order after the employee is processed by Human Resources (HR). Also per BPL 2005:02, IDs and passwords will be provided to the employee at New Employee Orientation (or when the employee begins employment). If early access is needed, please fill out the Pre-Employment Information Form that is available in MyFSU on the Workplace Tab, in the University Forms channel. After that has been and approved, HR will provide authorization to the Technology Assistance Center (TAC) to release the ID and password pre-employment. The IDs for the systems listed above will all have the same unique computing ID generated by Banner.
