v     Sign up early for your personalized on-campus recruiting visit.

v     Due to the testimonials from previous recruiters

       indicating the high quality of the Ferris candidates, consider coming on campus even if you have a light

       interview schedule.

 v     Advertise your on-campus recruiting visit and attendance at the job fairs by advertising in the Torch, the        student newspaper at FSU.  They can be reached at 231.591.5946.

 v     Be specific on what skills are required for your full-time/internship positions.

 v     Promote your on-campus recruiting visit by scheduling an open information session with free food prior to your recruiting date.

 v     Check out the Web Resume Book and e-mail your ideal candidates from the convenience of your office,  inviting them to your information session and interview schedule.

 v     Ask us to arrange for a classroom presentation, or to set you up with a table in the hallway of the academic  building of your choice.

v     Join the staff and/or available faculty for lunch to share critical information to help assure your recruiting success at Ferris.

 v     Take advantage of the excellent opportunity to recruit employees and network with students and faculty; plan  on attending one or more of the three annual job fairs (two general, one allied health.)

 v     Follow-up quickly with Ferris students who attended the job fair that you wish to interview.

 v     Join the “Partner In Success” program, become a sponsor of the FLEX for Success - Professional

       Career and Leadership Conference and have your company logo linked directly for students to access

       from our web site.  

 

 

 v     Participate as a presenter/employer contact in the FLEX for Success - Professional Career and

       Leadership Conference held fall semester to help prepare students for the recruiting season.
