125 Geocaching

High-Tech Treasure Hunt!

Travel through 125 years of Ferris history and compete for a special limited edition geocoin that commemorates the 125th anniversary of the founding of Ferris State University.

You will need a GPS device and a 125th Geocaching card that is available at several locations throughout Big Rapids. Multiple caches are being maintained by colleges and departments on campus. Geocachers must locate the caches, sign a log book and use a special punch located in the cache to mark their card. Completed cards are collected at the end of the hunt, and entered for a drawing. Ten coin winners will be drawn each month. There is a bonus entry if participants find all the caches in Stage 3.

The contest began on September 3 and continue through the academic year.
